We’re based in the beautiful mountains of Asheville, NC. Here at Heavy Duty Incorporated headquarters our goals are to:
1. Create great products that encourage interaction and creativity, and are just fun to be around.
2. Share by being as transparent as possible. By that we mean sharing everything we can about our business and how our products are made, even including what suppliers we are using.
Our focus, for now, is soft goods. We develop our own custom printed fabrics using digital textile printers. Where possible we are sourcing green materials. We will be expanding our collection with more pillows, curtains, placemats, napkins and other items. And because we just can’t help it, we will offer the occasional one-off, prototype or art object.
Heavy Duty Incorporated is the husband and wife team of Tracy Sigler and Mary Earle-Sigler. Tracy has been a steelworker, a media company executive, and a bunch of things in between. Mary has a degree in fashion design and has spent time as an art educator and costume designer. Three, or more, would not be a crowd. We would love to have the right partners/co-conspirators join us.
